Under their easy going surface, the difference between a rut and a grave is the depth: Amazon’s backup procedures are a jungle, Sony’s Play Station’s gets pick pocketed and Apple loses its pips. It’s all wonderful stuff. What is the role of brands? Are they not their to offer protection?
