Could ‘hacktivist’ group, LulzSec be a new century brand?

The BBC misses the target in its report today about the soon to be world renowned Lulz Security. The organization’s “hacktivist” motivation is the key driving force of the group. The organizations and companies that it targets are often portrayed as having acted against the interests of citizens or consumers. Its latest coup de tar was crippling the CIA.gov site.

What’s interesting is the tone of reporting that their activities receive. The media is literally enamored by LulzSec. Maybe we’re next?
