The lack of social mobility is the root of unrest

With a jobless level in the US that will likely take 12 years to correct we need to understand the consequences this has upon our economy and more importantly, our society.

The problem is not so much about people being fired, its the lack of demand for jobs. This stymies the social ladder and not just for those without jobs. What’s your view?
