Twinkies, if your work rules require workers to deliver bread and cakes on separate trucks

Let’s be honest, you’re unlikely to survive this long journey. Bankruptcy is ugly and the much publicized compromises and sacrifices the unionized workers have taken on are honorable. Now is the time for bold action and this rule is an example of one that is ripe for trimming as it showcases the chronic nature of the “systems” overhaul Hostess requires from its brand strategy, shared values, staffing and the skills required, through to how it structures the business.

Don’t keep acquiescing to workers cutting pay, encourage all to rip open the ribs and cut some red tape out and take the risk. As Winston Churchill said, “It’s only when you risk losing everything you can least afford to lose that you learn to play the game.” The future favors the bold.
