What Happens Next at FIFA?

Most sponsors have said its good that Blatter is stepping down. But he isn’t for 6 months, are sponsors potentially putting their necks out there on the line unnecessarily right now?

Is the game/sport too big for that to happen?

FIFA sponsors had put pressure on Blatter to resign. Do you think that it had any influence on Blatter’s decision?

Investigations currently on-going (in Switzerland, possibly US) on how 2018/2022 games were awarded. If it is found that those games were awarded nefariously – how do you think sponsors will react?

What will or should it take for some sponsors to completely cut ties with FIFA?

The ball is rolling and there’s so much more to come from this investigation. An investigation that’s suggesting this type of activity has been going on for the last 20 years! Watch this space.
