China Could Overtake the U.S. as the World’s No. 1 Economy This Year

Amazing and scary to know that China will sooner than realized be larger than the USs $16T economy – this year! Goldman Sachs ten years ago estimated that China would be number 1 by 2050 and India number 3! What happened with that estimate? India is still to challenge Japan, but China has reached the lead in lightening speed. But as this article in Time suggests it does highlight some of the fundamental issues facing the Chinese economy.

I think the phrase is go West East:
